In the pharmaceutical industry, Pills Counting Machine is one of the key equipment, and its maintenance and care directly affect the counting accuracy and production efficiency of medicines. External cleaning of the equipment is a basic part of daily maintenance. Although its shell is usually made of corrosion-resistant materials such as stainless steel or aluminum alloy, over time, the surface of the equipment will still accumulate dirt such as dust, drug residues and fingerprints, affecting its appearance and function. Therefore, operators need to regularly clean the outside of the equipment with a soft cleaning cloth, and avoid using corrosive or irritating detergents to avoid damage to the surface of the equipment. During the cleaning process, special attention should be paid to the electrical part to ensure that moisture or detergents do not penetrate into the circuit board and connectors, thereby avoiding the risk of equipment failure or short circuit. Before cleaning, be sure to turn off the power supply of the equipment and wait for the equipment to cool completely to ensure safety.
In daily maintenance, cleaning of key areas such as counting channels, sensors and vibration systems is particularly important. When drug particles pass through the counting channel, drug residues or other impurities may remain, especially for drugs with strong viscosity or irregular shapes. These residues will not only affect the counting accuracy, but may also cause contamination to the drug itself. Therefore, the operator must thoroughly clean the counting channel after each use. Although most Pills Counting Machines are equipped with automatic cleaning systems, these functions cannot completely remove all fine particles, and manual cleaning is still an indispensable link. When cleaning, special cleaning tools such as soft brushes and vacuum cleaners should be used according to the design requirements of the equipment, and hard objects should be avoided to protect the integrity of the internal structure of the equipment.
During the drug counting process, the cleaning and maintenance of the equipment's sensors, optoelectronic devices, and image recognition systems are also crucial. Sensors and image recognition systems count by accurately sensing the number and position of drugs, so their cleanliness is directly related to the accuracy of the counting. Dust, drug residues, or static electricity may have a negative impact on their working performance. For precision instruments such as laser sensors, optical sensors, and cameras, regular inspection and cleaning are particularly important. When cleaning, be careful and use an air blow gun to gently remove surface dust. Avoid using wet cloth or liquid detergent to prevent damage to sensitive parts. The lens and sensor should be gently wiped with a clean, dust-free cloth to ensure that they are always in good working condition.
The maintenance of the vibration system should not be ignored either. The main function of the vibration system is to help drugs pass through the counting channel smoothly and keep the transportation smooth. As the use time increases, the moving parts of the vibration device may accumulate dust or drug residues, which will affect its working efficiency and even cause the equipment to jam or stagnate. For this reason, the operator should regularly check the vibration device to ensure its normal operation. If the vibration system is found to be unstable or produces abnormal noise, it should be stopped in time for inspection and maintenance. At the same time, the connection parts of the vibration device, such as springs and connecting rods, should also be checked regularly to ensure that there is no looseness or aging.
